“You can look at a picture for a week and never think of it again. You can also look at a picture for a second and think of it all your life.”- JOAN MIRO I FIERRA.

Ever since I was kid, I always loved observing people, no matter where I am, be it a temple, a railway station or a street. I could watch people for hours on the streets and would never get bored. Slowly this hobby took the form of another hobby which was photography. Capturing moments, people, their emotions and feelings is divine. It gives us a certain kind of satisfaction, that couldn’t be expressed in words.

My recent visit to Kerala , 'God's own country' what they call, changed my whole perspective towards life. It somewhere, helped me know myself better, helped me respect individuality and diversity, all at the same time. It also somewhere, changed my perspective towards photography. It changed the way I see myself and the people around me, with and without these lens.

There are people trying to learn it, the tricks and the techniques, and in order to get social acclaim, post pictures on social media every now and then to feel validated. You don't have to prove your love for photography Click because you like it and not to get likes on it. The moment you start doing that, you're going to discover your very own definition of Photography. You will find it much more fun, exciting and soul retrieving. What should matter is that how YOU see things, YOUR surroundings and how YOU want to capture and save the moment, rather than how others wanna see it. And once you start seeing it that way through your lens, others will see it too.
